Arranging a funeral
B.Livesey tailors a funeral service to meet the family’s wishes and to comply with the law. Here is a guide to the kind of support and range of services you can expect.

After discussing your requirements, we will take detailed instructions concerning the services and facilities to be provided and then act to ensure the funeral is dignified and that all aspects are delivered to the highest professional standards.

It is important to emphasise that the services listed below may not  be provided automatically and this list does not include all services offered but is a general guide of  what we will offer:
1.  Provide advice on registration procedures.
2.  Arrange a date and time for the funeral, according to your instructions.  We will contact on your   behalf the church or cemetery office to arrange a mutually convenient time and date.  We will deal with all necessary paperwork to enable burial or cremation to take place.
3.   Removal of the deceased from the place of death, or location to which to deceased has been taken, to our premises.
4.   Choice of Coffin or Casket to suit all your requirements.  We own and operate our own in-house coffin manufacturing company -www.cartmellandbarlow.co.uk
5.   Provide facilities for viewing of the deceased if either our rooms of repose or private chapel
6.   Provision of Hearse and Limousines (if required) with all necessary staff to conduct the funeral according to your wishes.
7.   Organise obituary notices in all relevant newspapers (local and national)
8.   Arrange floral tributes on your behalf
9.   Advice and organise catering and suitable venues
10. Organists, choir, piper etc arranged as required
10. Mourning Stationery (Order of Service sheets) - we will liaise with Ministers, Priest, Vicar regarding layout and approval of these on your Behalf.
11. Collect and list all donations received in lieu of flowers on your behalf an forward to the relevant charity.
12. In the case of cremation we can organise the burial, scattering or transfer (to another area/country) of the cremated remains.
13. If the funeral is a burial (or indeed interring of cremated remains) we can offer you a no-obligation proof and estimate for a memorial in memory of your loved one, by our own in-house company of monumental mason  www.taylorsmemorials.co.uk
